The Purple Touch extends their gratitude and sincere thanks to every person, former OLC student, supermarket and business who donated so generously to our Christmas Hamper Appeal last month.
We initially started with the goal of donating 10 hampers to student families of St Scholastica’s Primary School and 5 hampers to student families of Our Ladies Convent High School in Hackney.
However, we were overwhelmed with the amounts of monetary and food donations that came in through London Supermarkets, the Body Shop, Elom Doussey Tailoring, Belle Vous Spa, Kiyah’s Chocolates, amazing donors via our Amazon Shopping List and kind individuals who supported the cause with their love and gifts.
As a result, we were able to donate a further 8 hampers to Becontree School in Essex and 7 more hampers were donated to families in Goodmayes, Harold Hill, Plumstead, Islington and Edmonton. In addition 2 sets of gift cards to the value of £70 were donated to families in North London.
Thank you for being a part of this special project where 30 hampers and 2 gift cards were given to families in need. We can’t thank you enough – God bless you!
